- The West London LGBT Development Project has a vision of thriving LGBT communities in the West London boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and Richmond upon Thames.
The aim of this project is to support LGBT engagement in the west London Boroughs.
This will include:
- supporting capacity building of small LGBT groups
- setting up a new online LGBT consultation forum
- reviewing and updating the West London LGBT Information Directory
- undertaking a further survey of LGBT policies and services by local councils, PCTs and Police across West London
- developing training with ALMOS and housing associations on tackling homophobic attacks on estates
- producing a resource and information pack for local schools and colleges on homophobic bullying
