Pride London seemed to go very well on Saturday. Unfortunately I and my colleagues from CAGS were behind the Croydon stall most of the time, so didn't get to see much of the parade or the other events. What did other people think of it?

I'm Secretary of Croydon Area Gay Society, Treasurer of Aurora (Croydon's LGBT Police Consultation Group) and Webmaster for Crocus (Croydon's LGBT Network). I also organise Silver Rainbow (the social group for older gay people in Croydon) and manage websites for several other groups including SLAGO (Surrey and London Association of Gay Organisations) and CHE (Campaign for Homosexual Equality). My Civil Partner, Roger, is also active in several of these groups.

LGBT History Month

I hope everyone knows that LGBT History Month is celebrated in February every year. And for several years now there's been a pre-launch in November of the previous year. Trans Day of Remembrance 2009

This year's Trans Day of Remembrance was held on the 21st of November in Gower Street, London, to commemorate all those trans people who had lost their lives as a result of transphobia or prejudice.
