There is a new Trans youth support group starting in Hackney, this will be best suited for yourself and especially the other trans people having problems, both Fionn and Jay are well experienced in trans youth ...

I'm a post op trans woman from North London.
Founder member of Spectrum London, a London wide transgender support group based in Camden and also the London Representative for the Gender Trust, a national Transgender Charity. I am also involved with work with other LGBT organisations around London and nationally.
I am passionate on various issues such as Hatecrime and Domestic Abuse/Violence and am happy to be involved in talks, presentations and workshops. This year i have been involved with the borough of Southwark taking part in an oustpoken event as part of LGBT History Month and also speaking at a Transgender awareness workshop event in August.
I also do work with my own borough of Haringey and am presently the Chair of the Haringey LGBT Network.

Trans people reporting hate crime
Hi,
I would like to write a bit on the subject of hate crime reporting, in particular Transphobic attacks and Domestic Violence.
I would agree that if a trans person feels intimidated and unsure to contact Galop, the Met police last year themselves suggested trans people think of this as a reasonable idea. However there should be nothing to fear with the police. I would suggest that if possible trans people need to know who their respective borough LGBT Liasion officers are and make sure that… Continue

- In my considered opinion the Police are very muchin need to be trained in diveristy and the differances in cultural needs. This should be part of their training for todays Uk mutil-society,
Not just Police officers ( but they should be setting an example) even know there's a differance between Homo and Transphobia
Do the Police know the 4 forms of Homo/Transphobia
Trans persons are treated and STIGMATISED more than anyone in todays society in the UK
Homophobia now rates higher then Racism, Transphobia even more
This is totaly unacceptable---the most essential words in the Universal Decleration of Human Rights should be heeded ei

- hi denise i will be coming to the next spectum meeting and i will bring some more of my trans friends that are geting problems u think cueing me witchcaft water is bad wait till u hear what other trans young peple have to put up with from the council can u sine my petition so the witchcaft can stop and treat us more farly council sould not use wichcaft on trans young peple its not fair and its dangeras i am stronger now thank u lots lydia
