- "Wilde About Books" is Bromley Libraries' LGBT reading group. We are always delighted to welcome new members and are a friendly and informal small mixed group which meets on the 4th Thursday of each month in the Meeting Room on Floor 5 of the Central Library, High Street, Bromley BR1 1EX between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
We read a different book every month by a variety of LGBT and non-LGBT authors and all books are chosen by the members of the group. The library provides the books, but you don't need to be a member of the library to take part. We even provide free drinks and nibbles! So come along, have your say and join in the fun!
Transport: Centrally located in the pedestrianised section of Bromley High Street, served by major bus routes and two rail stations Bromley North and Bromley South. The library does not have parking facilities but there are several car parks for which a charge is made within easy walking distance.
